Installation

QuickForms installs from the Shopify App Store. A working contact form takes a few minutes and needs no developer.

1. Open the QuickForms listing on the Shopify App Store and click Install.
2. Approve the permissions. QuickForms needs shop details and its own storage; it does not request customer or order data.
3. In the dashboard, create your first form from a template — contact, enquiry, warranty, wholesale or lead capture.
4. Set required fields and the notification recipients.
5. Place the form block on a page or template (see below) and submit a test entry.

Configuration

Fields

Supported field types are single-line text, long text, email, phone, number, dropdown, checkbox, radio group, date and file upload. Each field can be required, and each has its own label, help text and validation message.

Notifications and routing

Every form has its own recipient list, so wholesale enquiries can go to sales while warranty claims go to support. You can also send an automatic acknowledgement to the person who submitted.

Spam protection

Honeypot fields, submission-rate limits and timing checks run by default. There is no puzzle for real customers to solve. If a legitimate submission is ever blocked, it appears in the dashboard flagged rather than discarded.

Submissions and export

Submissions are searchable by form, date and field value, and export as CSV:

Theme app block placement

Forms are placed visually with a theme app block, so the same form can appear on a page, a product template or in the footer.

1. In Shopify admin go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
2. Open the page or template that should hold the form.
3. Click Add block and pick QuickForms under Apps.
4. Select which form to render and whether to show its heading.
5. Save and submit a test entry from the storefront.

Data and privacy

QuickForms stores what people type into your forms, because that is the point of the app. You control the fields, so you control what is collected.

• Submissions are visible only to staff on your Shopify admin.
• Only ask for fields you need — the app does not add hidden tracking fields.
• Uploaded files are stored with the submission and deleted with it.
• You can delete any submission at any time; deletion is immediate and permanent.
• On uninstall, submissions are retained for 30 days so a reinstall recovers them, then deleted.

Troubleshooting

Notification emails are not arriving

Check the recipient address for a typo, then check spam. Submissions always appear in the dashboard even when email delivery fails, so nothing is lost while you sort it out.

The form does not submit

A required field is failing validation off-screen. The first invalid field is focused on submit — scroll up to see it.

File uploads are rejected

Check the size limit and allowed file types on the upload field. Both are configurable per field.

Styling looks wrong on one page

A theme section wrapper is constraining width. Place the block in a full-width section, or enable the form's compact layout.

FAQ

How many forms can I build?

Unlimited forms, and unlimited submissions.

Can I use the same form in two places?

Yes. A form is defined once and can be rendered on as many pages or templates as you like; submissions record where they came from.

Can I export to a spreadsheet?

Yes — CSV export from the submissions dashboard, filtered or complete.

What does it cost?

QuickForms is free to install today. Pricing will be announced before it changes.
